Simulating vehicular mobility
Geolink develops critical software, involving high-complexity modules. Our development is supported by important simulation tools, which enable validation and testing of each module, prior to its transition into production stage. Given that vehicular mobility has a critical impact on the behaviour and performance of our systems, Geolink develops proprietary traffic simulation software, allowing the simulation of realistic traffic over entire metropolitan areas.
We can license our traffic simulation platform to assist in specific tasks of third party companies, such as road infrastructure planning, intelligent transportation systems technologies, or public transportation modelling. In addition to the licensing of our simulation platform, we can assist you in the process of configuration of the simulation environment.

It is possible to integrate our simulator with other platforms, through an API and the use of generic communication formats.
Multiple classes of vehicles
The simulation may involve vehicles of different classes, from light vehicles, heavy vehicles, goods or passengers. The behavior of each class of vehicles is parametrizable, and pre-defined routes can be programmed.
Network Layer
The simulator includes simulation layers of the communication network, namely inter-vehicular, as well as being interconnected with other network simulators.
Traffic control infrastructure
Traffic signs, traffic lights and other key traffic control entities are possible to include and program in the simulator.
